James and Heather have both been through a lot in life, but God knew they needed each other.

The Sunday before Easter in 2023, Heather prayed for God to send her forever person. Then on Easter Sunday, as James was coming down after being baptized, Heather jokingly told her sister, “That is my future husband.” Little did she know, that joke would turn into her real-life love story.

After adding each other on Facebook, James started hearting Heather’s pictures. Heather finally messaged him and said, “So when are you going to stop hearting my pictures and message me?” James replied, “You noticed? How sweet.”

From there, the rest was history. What started as a prayer and a simple message became a beautiful story of faith, love, and God’s perfect timing.
